Zack Almost In Jail

Alrighty. It all started about two years ago. I had just came back from the liver stabbing (whole nother story, but people who have known me a long time should know about that already). I was rapidly losing blood, and I was dragging the assaulter behind me, unconscious.

I had reached the police department and was about to turn the perp in, but I had passed out from loss of blood. Thankfully, I was close enough to downtown (where the PD and the biggest hospital in my old city, Tallahassee, are) that they found me and called an ambulance.

I woke up, about three days later. Apparently I was in a coma, and I was surrounded by police officers and some close friends

As I woke up, the police gave me some time to inform me of what happened. You know the usual "You've been in a coma for nearly 3 days. You had lost a great amount of blood and would have died. etc. etc." You know, nothing major

So, apparently, I bashed the kid's head (the one who attacked a friend of mine, and then I beat into submission when he got too cocky with a knife) in too badly, and so he had gotten a concussion. Though, since it was in the defense of someone else, I wasn't charged for anything

A day later, I was released with several stitches on the right side of my body, and I was told not to move around so much.

Then... a few weeks had passed (nothing strange happening), but then the police showed up at my doorstep (I was still living in a house by this point in time). Apparently, a kid (I didn't really know them, but I went to school with them) had their head cracked open. It seemed like in the same place as where I beat the knife attacker, and the bruise was about the same size, which led them to suspect me.

Of course, I wasn't the one who did it (if I was, do you think I'd be here able to tell you all this). But, being a good citizen, I didn't resist.

They had brought me in for questioning, you know "Where were you on blankity blank at blank blank blank? How well did you know blank? Etc." It's nothing like a cop drama, though. Even though I was innocent, I still felt threatened by those questions.

The parents of the kid also hated me due to this one small event where he was hitting on a friend of mine and I broke his nose. But I mean, come on?! He was being a pervert, trying to feel her up, and she was obviously uncomfortable.

Though, with that event, they had bigger reasons to suspect me.

So... with my violent behavior (no big shock there), our bad history, and the other clues. I was the major suspect

Anyways, there was one thing I had in my favor. The body was found about 3-4 hours dead. I had an alibi.

Instead of punching that kid's brain in, I was punching someone else's head in during a boxing match (which I had lost, but only due to me using an elbow by accident). It was also recorded on camera, thus proving my innocence. Even so, I still went to trial.

Okay, so blah blah blah, I went to court, lawyer defended me

And I was found innocent. We still don't know who killed the kid, though
